Pool Goddess!

Hey Everyone!


I thought today I would talk about some of my favorite pool-day-products! This is typically what I throw in my pool bag! 

The Bag:

One time I ordered from Victoria's Secret online and got a free tote with a swim purchase! Don't you love those free gifts?! 

Sunscreen/Tanning Oil:

For tanning oil I love the Banana Boat products. 

and for sunscreen...

I like this because the SPF is high enough for me and it stays through sweat and water.

Lip Balm:

I got my lips sunburned last month and it was really painful. So, I suggest you always have some sort of lip SPF with you. 

Romper/Cover Up:

I saw this romper on Forever21.com and thought it was so cute! They have it in black and gold as well but I love the bright orange! 

I also throw in some extras like bobby pins, hair elastics, a book or magazine and a towel haha!

Update: Stress, Moving and New Videos

Hey Guys!

Just wanted to make a quick blog post on what I'm up to. Without venting too much, I've been dealing with the whole moving process and some personal things recently. We knew we were selling our house and moving, but after we sold the house we didn't know where we were going to end up permanently. Does that make sense? Right now we are renting and just trying to figure out our next move. Financially we can't just buy a house right away, so we could be here for the summer or up to a year. That means I would be going to a different high school this year and then a different high school again the next year. So it's a little stressful not knowing wether I should get comfortable and start unpacking boxes or if I should be ready to pick up and move again.

If we do stay here, I will be working and making plenty of videos this summer! I also haven't been able to make a video yet because we didn't have our internet set up until today. If we do move again I will continue with my channel but might not be able to start really making videos again for a little while.

Whichever way it goes, I hope that everything is happening for a reason and we will end up where we are supposed to be. Know that I am thinking about youtube and my subscribers all the time and I can't wait to be back in the swing of things!

Review: YES To Tomatoes Acne Treatment

Hey Everyone!


Sorry I haven't blogged in a few days, just been super busy! I promise I'm getting to the end of my workload though and then I'll be bloggin and vloggin way too much, haha! Anyways, I wanted to do a review for you guys on the YES To Tomatoes Acne Treatment (roller ball.) 


Let me just start by saying that any company that is cruelty free, has natural ingredients and is reasonably priced is something I definitely want to try! YES To... meets- and exceeds that list. I had never tried this company before but had heard about their cucumber facial wipes, but never the tomatoes (acne) products. I saw the rollerball at ULTA for $10, and I was currently unhappy with my acne medicine, so I gave it a try. I am so glad I gave it a chance!

To use the product you simply unscrew the cap, roll over any blemishes and overnight-presto! They are either gone or have significantly improved. This product has done wonders for my blemishes and I no longer have to worry when I see a pimple pop up! What's funny is, it really does smell like tomatoes (or maybe I'm just imaging it...)

Summer Beauty: Too Faced Summer Palette!

Hey Everyone!

Have you girls tried those Too Faced eye palettes? I almost bought the "Romantic" palette but then I changed my mind and got the Stila "In The Garden" palette. Well, I was in Ulta today walking past the Too Faced row when I stopped in my tracks to behold the new beauty that is the summer palette.

Video: My Makeup Set-Up/ Storage

Also if you notice in the right corner I have my username in my videos, you may have noticed it moving around in this a lot. 

Youtube has a cool new feature that makes your video a LOT less shaky, so the username shakes instead of the video. Trust me, it's better this way. 

The beginning of the video was cut off (my camera must be pretty full), what I had said was that I keep my makeup in that traincase and that palettes and a few other things are packed away, so I keep everyday (or most often used) things in there.

The Best Thing You Can Do...

Hey Guys,

This is kind of a venting post because of some non-youtube related things that have been going on. Just ignore this post if your going to be offended by this. Just really think guys before you say something, you don't know how it could affect them.

Ever hear the saying "If you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all" or "treat people as you would want to be treated?" 

Think about these quotes everyday. 

Think before you say something mean to someone.

You never know what a persons life is like, and you never know what could happen from saying one "little" mean thing to them.

Just be cautious and be kind, because being kind is the best thing you can do. 

The same is true reverse, one little nice comment could make someone's day! Try tomorrow to say at least 5 nice things to people in your life. Let people know how much you appreciate them. Sometimes they just need to be reminded.

Your more loved than you could ever imagine.

For The Love Of The Internet!

Hey Everyone,

Today is not a beauty related post, just letting you know right off the bat. 

Although it still concerns you. You may have seen googles logo today, or maybe you didn't see it because it's blacked out. It's a censor bar.

There are two bills going around congress right now: SOPA and PIPA. I don't consider myself an expert on this at all but basically what it means is that the government is going to censor the internet.

I don't like it... (ELF Eyeliner)

Here is another I don't like it post!

This one is on the product: Elf Liquid Eyeliner.

I had been using this product as my liquid liner for probably a year. Once it's dry it stays for about 3-5 hours but starts to fade. That part isn't the problem- it's the application. No wonder I've always hated lining my upper lash line, this product makes it really difficult. You know how people pull their eyelid when they apply eyeliner? I wasn't doing that and working with this EXTREMELY watery formula. It was hard for even really steady handed people. It runs, drips and if you mess up- forget eyeliner for the day!

If you want to try it it's only a dollar but really difficult to apply.

I don't like it....

Hey Girls!

I've been kind of MIA recently but I thought I'd make a blog post today, an I don't like it. 

In these posts I'm going to review a product that I don't like that's something you may be considering, usually from a high end brand (don't waste your money!).

This post: MAC Studio Sculpt SPF 15 Foundation.

This foundation is described as a matte, light/medium coverage gel based foundation. I would say the coverage is light and the finish is matte. If you have oily skin and are looking for a natural coverage this might work better for you. MAC makeovers and color matching is free so don't be afraid to try it out and ask for help!

It had the coverage and finish I wanted but I didn't end up liking it. It was really drying to my skin, maybe I just didn't like the gel based formula. It made my skin look like it was dry and peeling. It was also cakey and flakey eeeek!

Most people don't like MAC foundations but I wanted to try it out.

MAC does have a great return policy and I will be returning it. 

I did pick up the interior life palette ( I think it's limited edition so go get your hands on it!) and I love it!
